Z.ai International GLM-4.7-Flash / GLM-4.5-Flash / GLM-4.6V-Flash Free API

After signing up on the Z.ai international open platform, GLM-4.7-Flash, GLM-4.5-Flash (text) and GLM-4.6V-Flash (vision) are listed as Free for input, output and cached input on the official pricing page, with no token cap stated

The official pricing page (docs.z.ai/guides/overview/pricing) lists prices per 1M tokens: for GLM-4.7-Flash, GLM-4.5-Flash and GLM-4.6V-Flash, all four columns (Input, Cached Input, Cached Input Storage, Output) read Free; the GLM-4.7 model page describes it as "Lightweight, Completely Free". On the same page GLM-5.3-Flash ($0.15 input / $0.50 output per 1M tokens), GLM-5.3-FlashX and others are already paid and are outside the free scope; the Cached Input Storage column of paid models reads Limited-time Free, which only waives storage fees while the models themselves are still billed, so it is not counted. The official concurrency note only says that quotas differ by user or subscription plan and that requests beyond the limit may fail or queue; no concurrency figure is published for the free models.

⚠️The official quick start only says to register or log in and then create a key on the API Keys page, with top-up marked as "if needed", which suggests free models do not require a prior top-up. The pages do not say whether registration uses email or another method, or whether a payment method must be attached; the sign-up flow was not walked through, so check the sign-up page before you start. This is a separate platform from the mainland-China site already listed here (bigmodel-glm; phone number and real-name verification required, plus 20 million bonus tokens); this entry only covers the free Flash models on the international site. The docs also mention a GLM-5.3-Flash Usage Campaign, but it is explicitly for paid Coding Plan users only and is not included.
