:free models are uniformly rate-limited to 20 RPM. Accounts with under $10 in lifetime top-ups get 50 requests/day; once lifetime top-ups reach $10, that rises to 1,000 requests/day. Which specific models are free changes over time — there's no guarantee any given model stays free long-term.
