New users on the 'worry-free trial mode' get 500,000 tokens of free inference quota across the full Doubao model line (calculated separately per model)
The quota is calculated independently per model under the main account. It only offsets pay-as-you-go online inference fees billed by token — it doesn't cover plugin, knowledge-base, or other costs. The service pauses automatically once the free quota is exhausted. Once 'worry-free trial mode' is turned off, it cannot be re-enabled.
500,000 tokens is an entry-level trial amount that can run out quickly during debugging. Free-quota rules for third-party models (DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, MiniMax, etc.) on the Ark platform may differ from Doubao's — check what's actually shown in the console.
