Free plan: 50 sources per notebook, 100 notebooks, 50 chats per day, 3 audio/video overviews per day
As of Google I/O in May 2026, it was folded into the Google AI subscription system (Free/Plus/Pro/Ultra tiers), and in July 2026 the product was renamed Gemini Notebook, with the free tier's features unchanged. Each source is capped at 500,000 characters or 200MB. There's also a daily quota of 10 reports and 10 deep-research uses.

If you come across a tutorial referring to the old name NotebookLM, it's still valid — only the entry point/branding has changed to Gemini Notebook.
