GitHub Student Developer Pack (Copilot Student)

Verified students get the GitHub Copilot Student plan: unlimited code completion plus 200 AI Credits per month for chat/agent use

As of 2026-03-12, the student benefit changed from full Copilot Pro to the new Copilot Student tier, which offers less than Pro (chat/agent models are limited to auto-selection — you can't manually pick a top-tier model). The Student Pack also bundles GitHub Pro, the full JetBrains suite, and 20+ other developer tools.

⚠️The benefit was reduced on 2026-03-12 (downgraded from Copilot Pro to Copilot Student). Verification requires materials like a .edu email or student ID, reviewed through GitHub Education, typically taking 1-3 days.
