Personal Google account OAuth login: free at 60 requests/minute, 1,000 requests/day
Quotas differ by login method: a personal Google account (non-Workspace) via OAuth gets 1,000 requests/day, 60 RPM for free; a free Gemini API Key gets roughly 250 requests/day. As of 2026-04, Gemini 2.5 Pro has been removed from the free tier, and requests may be downgraded or queued during peak periods.
