Cerebras Inference (Free Trial credits)

New accounts get a one-time $5 in credits after adding a payment method, expiring within 30 days

The no-card standing free tier was discontinued on 2026-08-17; a verified payment method is now required to unlock this $5 in signup credits. Once used up or expired, you must pay to continue using the API / Playground. The old free tier offered 1 million tokens/day with no card required.

⚠️As of 2026-08-17, the offer changed from a no-card standing free tier to a one-time $5 that requires a verified card and expires in 30 days — a significantly higher barrier for mainland China users, who need a card that passes overseas verification. This is the clearest case of a shrinking benefit found in this research round.
