New users get roughly 70 million tokens just for activating, spread across dozens of models with a roughly 1-million-token independent quota per model

Each model's quota (including different snapshot versions) is independent — it cannot be shared or transferred across models. Valid for 90 days, counted from whichever is later: activation, model release, or application approval. Limited to real-time inference calls in the North China 2 (Beijing) region only; doesn't cover batch, fine-tuning, or deployment scenarios.

⚠️Unused free quota is forfeited after 90 days, and since quotas are siloed per model, actual usable capacity is often far below the impression given by the '70 million' headline figure. CN identity verification (real-name) is only required once the quota is used up and you switch to pay-as-you-go.
