WeChat Mini Program Growth Plan AI pack (second phase: Hunyuan Hy3, 1 billion tokens plus 100K images, valid 6 months)
Tencent CloudBase / WeChat
After you sign up for the second phase of the Mini Program Growth Plan you get an AI pack: 1 billion Hunyuan Hy3 text tokens plus 100K Hunyuan image generations, valid for 6 months from approval, along with a 6-month personal-edition CloudBase environment (or a 120 yuan CloudBase voucher). It can only be called from WeChat mini programs and CloudBase server side (cloud functions).
Official doc docs.cloudbase.net/ai/ai-inspire-plan (rendered) verbatim: "The AI pack contains a Hunyuan token pack and a Hunyuan image pack, valid for 6 months from approval, usable only in WeChat mini programs and CloudBase server side"; second phase (2026-07-01 to 2026-12-31) comparison table: "Token quota 1 billion", "Image generation quota 100K", text model hy3, image models HY-Image-3.0 series; first phase (2026-01-01 to 2026-06-30) was 100 million tokens and 10K images. Benefits: "If you had no WeChat CloudBase environment when signing up, you get a free 6-month personal-edition environment plus the AI pack"; if you already have a non-trial environment you can "claim a CloudBase voucher worth 120 yuan plus the AI pack". Sign-up entry verbatim: "WeChat Official Platform -> Industry Capabilities -> Mini Program Growth Plan".
You need a WeChat mini program account (registered and signed up on the WeChat Official Platform). One mini program account can join only once, and after claiming you cannot switch Tencent Cloud account or CloudBase environment. The free quota only works inside mini programs and CloudBase server side (cloud functions); the doc says "calling hy3 in AI tools and similar scenarios is deducted from your plan as normal", so it is not a general-purpose API key for outside programs. The page also carries a notice about governance of the usage scope, worth reading before you claim. The doc says changes will be announced 15 days in advance; the second phase runs to 2026-12-31 and whether it continues afterwards is not announced. Concurrency is limited, and the doc says that when the limit is exceeded it "cannot be raised for now because platform resources are limited". Registering a mini program needs subject information (individual or company); the sign-up page itself was not reached, so the requirement is inferred from the official doc.
