Azure AI Translator F0 Free Tier: 2 Million Characters of Text Translation per Month

The F0 free instance includes 2 million characters of standard text translation per month (shared with custom translation training), long-term

Official pricing page (F0 - Free): "Standard Translation: 2 million characters of any combination of standard translation and custom translation training free per month". It covers Text Translation, Language Detection, Bilingual Dictionary, Transliteration and Custom Translation Training. Standard text translation beyond the free allowance is billed at $10 per million characters on the S1 tier (document translation at $15 per million characters).

⚠️You need an Azure subscription, and signing up for Azure usually requires a credit card for identity verification. Choose the F0 tier when creating the Translator resource to stay free (S1 is pay-as-you-go); the pricing page does not say what happens when F0 is used up, so set a budget alert in the console. Document translation and image document translation are not part of the free allowance.
