The underlying compute is provided by DigitalOcean (AMD Developer Cloud runs on the DigitalOcean platform). Besides the compute credit, it also includes 1 month of DeepLearning.AI Premium membership, eligibility for AMD hardware giveaways, and free training courses. There's also an either/or option — instead of the AMD compute credit, you can choose $50 in Fireworks AI hosted-inference credits. Compared to the 'instant' experience of NVIDIA's build.nvidia.com, this AMD offer requires a 2-3 day approval process — an extra application step — and is a one-time, non-recurring $100 credit.
