The official pricing page's Free tier says: "No API key, no account, no credit card" and "100 Web Search API queries/day via MCP", with sign-up only needed for more. Web Search API costs $5 per 1000 calls, and the page labels the credit as "$100 free credit = 20,000 searches". The FAQ answers on whether a credit card is needed and whether credits expire are collapsed on the page, so we could not confirm either.
