After activating Voice Cloning, claim a free resource pack once in the console: 5 one-sentence voice clones plus 10000 characters of cloned-voice synthesis, valid for 3 months after claiming, one claim per account

Official "Voice Cloning Billing Overview" verbatim: as long as you activate the Voice Cloning service, you get a free call allowance (long text is not supported yet). The allowance is delivered as a free resource pack that you claim in the Voice Cloning console, and it is deducted first at billing. It contains: for the one-sentence edition, a voice resource allowance of 5 voices; for the one-sentence edition, a synthesis resource allowance of 10000 characters. The free resource pack is valid for three months from the moment you claim it successfully, and one account can claim it only once. Also: a one-sentence voice comes with a free storage period of 3 months from creation, and the basic edition comes with one year, after which storage is charged at 0.03 yuan per voice per day.

⚠️The threshold is inferred from the usual Tencent Cloud console routine (mainland phone number plus real-name verification). This is a one-time allowance that does not refresh monthly; the free pack covers only the one-sentence edition, and the basic edition has no free pack. Once the free storage period ends, voices are billed daily, so delete voices you no longer use. Cloning someone else's voice requires their authorization.
