Official "Image Recognition Billing Overview" verbatim: once Tencent Cloud Image Analysis and Processing is activated, a corresponding free call allowance is issued automatically for each API for test calls. Product recognition, vehicle recognition, vehicle recognition (enhanced), document seal recognition, pet recognition, chef attire recognition and safety attribute recognition each get 1000 calls per month, valid for the current month and issued every month. The free allowance is issued as a free resource pack to your Tencent Cloud account automatically on the 1st of each month, deducted first at billing, and valid only for that month. The same page notes that the visual understanding large model has no free allowance and supports postpaid billing only. ⚠️The threshold is inferred from the usual Tencent Cloud console routine (mainland phone number plus real-name verification). Only the traditional computer-vision APIs have a free allowance; the visual understanding large model (billed per token) has none. Beyond the free allowance, "vehicle recognition (enhanced)" costs far more per call (the official price list shows a tier of about 75 yuan per thousand calls), so read the price table before going over. Tencent Cloud may adjust or cancel the free allowance after giving 30 days' notice.
