Official Help Center page "Claim, use, and release the free trial" says: Alibaba Cloud offers free trial benefits to new users who are using DSW, DLC, or EAS for the first time; once you claim the resource deduction pack, usage of these services is deducted from it automatically. DSW quota and validity: 750 compute hours (CU-Hour) in total, valid for 3 months; issued as 250 compute hours per month, and any unused quota expires at the end of the month. When creating a DSW instance, choose "Public resources" as the resource type and use the free trial, with the spec ecs.gn7i-c8g1.2xlarge (1×NVIDIA A10, 8 vCPU, 30 GiB memory, 1×24 GB VRAM). The trial packs for DSW, EAS, and DLC are independent of each other and cannot be shared. The trial includes only a 100 GB free system disk.

⚠️The official restrictions are strict: only for new users who have never created a DSW / DLC / EAS instance (an account that ever created an instance, even if deleted, counts as not new); all accounts under the same real-name-verified user can claim only once; you must claim the trial pack before using the product. Pitfalls: you must stop the instance manually in the console when not in use, because the idle-shutdown policy is not guaranteed to trigger, and a running instance keeps consuming compute hours; any system-disk expansion is billed pay-as-you-go and stopping the instance does not halt that charge, so to stop billing completely you must delete the instance; a free-trial instance still shows a price, but nothing is deducted. Validity is 3 months from the claim date.
